Nashville, TN | April 27, 2023 - Highwoods is thrilled to announce that Asurion Gulch Hub has been awarded the Building Green 2023 Governor’s Environmental Stewardship Award! The GESA awards are hosted by Governor Bill Lee and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC). The program recognizes exceptional voluntary actions that improve or protect the environment and natural resources with projects or initiatives not required by law or regulation.

Asurion Gulch Hub is a new LEED-Gold certified headquarters for global technology company Asurion. The building is designed to foster productivity, collaboration, and innovation to attract and retain talent while enhancing and engaging the neighborhood and broader community. Additionally, Highwoods fostered a redesign of the Gulch Greenway, opening 1,400 feet of new linear park to the public. The ¼ mile segment of the broader Gulch Greenway integrated with Asurion Gulch Hub exemplifies a successful public-private partnership between Metro Nashville and Highwoods Properties who funded and constructed the realignment and extension of the greenway trail.
